Our Background

Russ has been selling quality antique decoys for 45 years. He pioneered the direct marketing of antique decoys, publishing a full-color catalog for over 20 years (now replaced by this website). He has built an extensive computer database of customers and their collecting and dealing interests, so that he can bring relevant items to their attention.

A Rutgers College graduate and U.S. Air Force veteran who then spent 25 years in marketing for several major corporations, Russ is experienced in all facets of consumer and pharmaceutical marketing, and he has brought these skills to the antiques business.

Karen spent 15 years with Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati before moving with Russ to Pittsburgh and then New Hampshire and becoming involved in the antiques business. She is known for her good "eye" for quality antiques and her presentation ability. She has provided many collectors with helpful decorating advice.

RJG Antiques on the Web

The Goldbergers are Internet commerce pioneers. They have had an active website for over 25 years. This website has evolved over the years, leading to today's site which is an information resource for American folk art and decoy collectors. Many collectors bookmark the site and check it regularly because it is offers a wealth of information and is updated daily. The website also is secure for credit card purchases. The Goldbergers were also one of the first antiques dealers to publish a regular e-newsletter (sign-up today!). They post new offerings and commentary frequently on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
