Very Early Mason Premier Canvasback Drake Decoy
Found in Maine, Ca. 1885-90

Handmade prototype. Hollow in heavily swirled, bone dry original paint (it could use a good cleaning). Seams can be seen, but are tight. Hit by shot on both sides with a superficial 2" scar on the left side. Small knot was filled at the base of the neck.

Carries a strong "Berdan" hunter brand.
