Stylish rigmates with inletted necks in excellent original condition. The drake has had sliver restorations to the bottom of its bill and a superficial tail chip. The hen (only one known!) has a bill repair. Both are initialed "A.G."

This pair was purchased directly from the Witherspoon family.

There are only two other drakes known in this style--Doc Starr's (Decoys of the Atlantic Flyway, color plate 14), which sold for $15,000 in 2009, and another that sold for nearly $11,000 in 2015. Both were identified as hens and each had a bill repair.
