Rarest of the Rare! Carved Ruby-Throated Hummingbird Pair

A matched male and female pair in excellent original condition. Their delicate beaks are original, but each has a small chip repair to its upper tail.

There are only 4 Boyd hummingbirds known, and this is the only female!

A male is pictured in Jim Cullen's Boyd book (p. 69). Another male and a misidentified female are pictured in Jim's article in the May-June 2002 Hunting & Fishing Collectibles magazine.
