Ca. 1910

A hard-to-find species in strong, largely original paint. The white speculums may have some old strengthening. The eye patches look to be original. The neck filler is replaced, and the left eye is badly cracked. The rarity of this model speaks for itself.

Retains its original weight and branded "Fox Island Club" for the famous Chesapeake Bay Rod and Gun Club, founded around 1920 and located just east of Virginia’s Tangier Island. A fire destroyed it in 2019.

See our "Mason Deoys" book, page 89 (top), for a similar example.

14" long.
