Excellent original condition, including paint and bill. The bill has been reset, but it is original. Small tail chip on left side.

This exact decoy is pictured in our "Mason Decoys" book, page 97, top right.

The earliest Mason shorebirds had carved split tails and wooden bills. This style was abandoned because of breakage.
