An untouched and desirable, hollow Gavitt rig style decoy in strong original paint with minor gunning wear. A shot mark on the right side is the only flaw.

Gavitt was an Upstate New York hunter who bought his Mason decoys when the company was producing its best work. The bodies are relatively small and the paint patterns are refined. Later production provided larger decoys with bolder paint feathering.

15" long.
