Hollow with tight seams in strong original paint. Minor filling of a thin in-the-making back crack and some neck filler. Carries the W.W.Knight brand.

William Windus Knight was from Perrysburg, Ohio (1878-1968). He was the founder of Toledo Trust Co.; later to become 1st National Bank of Toledo. He owned “The Hunt Club” on the Maumee River outside Toledo, now a wildlife conservation park. This pintail was later owned by his son, Edward Ford Knight (E.B.) who died at the age of 96 in 2005 and was sold by his estate.
