Superb example in strong, untouched original paint with no cracks. Bold, dark paint consistent with the species.

In our "Mason Decoys" book, we incorrectly identified this model as an immature Atlantic brant decoy. Note the blending of black breast paint into the body almost to the tail. The Atlantic brant instead has a sharply defined black breast. See our "Mason Decoys" book, page 83, for a rigmate.
