Used on the tractor that pulled the thresher. Perfect 100 year old rust patina; never painted. Rare size. Similar in form and surface to windmill weights of the era.

Kevin Martin, Epping, NH, Ca. 1995

Stretched canvas over cedar planking and ribs, spruce gunwales, and mahogany decking. Gold leaf decoration and striping by Moira Martin. Courting canoes were used on the Charles River. See H&FC Magazine, J-F '08, p. 31. Also, Wooden Canoe, June '97.
