About Mason Glasseye Decoys The Mason Decoy Company (Detroit, MI; 1896-1924) was the most successful commercial maker of gunning decoys. In 1905, Mason began to offer its Standard Grade decoys as its budget line. Glasseye was its highest Standard Grade. Decoys are almost always solid and round bottomed, with workman-like pattern patterns. Learn more about Mason Decoys.

	Mason Glasseye American Merganser Drake Decoy Ca. 1910 Exceptionally bright original paint. Some minor neck filler replacement and an in-the-making crack in the base. One of the most difficult Mason examples to find. See "Mason Decoys," page 74, for a similar example.

	Unused Mason Glasseye Mallard Drake Decoy Ca. 1910 Never rigged or put in the water! A few minor scuffs. Some of the original paint on the neck filler is flaking, but all of the neck filler is present. No cracks. Rare opportunity to add an unused Mason to your collection!

	Mason Glasseye Mallard Drake and Hen Pair Ca. 1915 Rigmate pair in nearly mint original condition. The drake has original neck filler; the hen's is a professional replacement. Exceptionally bright original paint. Hen has a tight crack in its base.

	Mason Glasseye Canvasback Drake Decoy Ca. 1910 Hard-to-find example in bone dry original paint with light gunning wear on right side. No cracks. Neck filler and a chip on the bottom of the bill have been professionally repaired.

	Mason Glasseye Pintail Drake and Hen Decoy Pair Ca. 1910 Nicely matched pair in strong original condition. Bold paint patterns. Drake has all of its original neck filler; hen has about half of its filler replaced. Neither has any cracks.
