Perfectly Matched Set of Three Miniature Pantry Boxes
Samuel Hersey, Hingham, MA, Ca. 1820-40

Nearly mint original condition with no visible cracks, chips or blemishes. Minor top edge roughness inside the lid on one pantry. All have a mellow honey colored patina. A nicely balanced stack.

Pine with 6 graduated dovetailed drawers in 2 over 2 over 2 arrangement. Rosehead nail construction. Early 19th century graining is the first painted surface. Minor interior repairs to the upper left drawer with paint restoration on its front.
